What about the Sun?

Firstly, the only layer of the Sun that is visible is the only layer we see: The outer most layer....let that imagery sink in...that was a literal metaphor.

Secondly, it is important to acknowledge precisely what the Sun, our personal star, is to us. The sun created itself, and with the leftover material, gave rise to the planets. Humanity is JUST now leaving the field of influence the Sun has. Voyager 1 JUST left the solar system last year and entered deep space. Scientist know because the Sun emits a unique radiation that normally overwhelms cosmic rays...but Voyager 1's detectors are now picking up more cosmic rays as it leaves our solar system.

Everything we have came from our Sun, or from material left over from Ancient Stars that exploded eons before our Sun created itself....let that sink in.

Thirdly, and on that last note, our Sun is our PROXY TO GOD. It is our creator, our sustainer, and, as scientist predict millions of years from now, it will be Earth's destroyer.

What is a proxy to God? It is a condensed reflection of a truly unlimited entity. The Sun is immense, but finite. It's limited nature parallel to its unimaginable power allows us to conceive of even greater forms of power, like super nova stars, quasar galaxies, and super massive black holes.

Finally...because I could go on and on about the Sun... Our personal star self evidently operates in layers, over time. The light that reaches our eyes from the Sun only takes 8 minutes to travel from the Sun's surface to earth at the speed of light. But for the light to actually leave the Sun's core and shoot out from its radiation zone, through its' convection zone, and out to its' surface actually takes individual light particles (photons) 100's of 1,000's,  if not 1,000,000's of years.

They begin as deadly and highly energetic gama rays, and eventually loose enough energy to become visible light through the chaotic processes that impeded the radiations movement from the speed of light to a slow crawl. The Sun self evidently demonstrates how restraint is the greatest excercise of power

And the Sun is so mighty to us that we can't even look directly at it. The only way to appreciate the Sun is through indirect observations. Photosynthesis powers our entire food supply, so give thanks to the Sun whenever you eat a meal.

The Sun is our proxy to God. So if you want an object to worship, the Sun would be the likeliest and most reality based candidate...just sayin....lol.
